Christine Duffy has over 25 years of experience in the Point of Sale industry serving in several strategic roles. In the early years of her career, she was one of only a handful of women leaders in the industry. Over time, she has witnessed change in the industry, stayed committed to the field, and has grown the sales team of Star Micronics in shaping the distribution channel. As the Senior Sales Director for Star Micronics America Inc., she is guiding our partners to navigate the evolution happening in this industry, such as mobile payments and cloud-based solutions. Being at the forefront of innovation and new product development leadership, Star Micronics is fully engaged to educate and support resellers bringing the best of breed solutions to their retail and hospitality customers.
In addition to her role at Star Micronics, Ms. Duffy serves as a Board of Director member for the RSPA, Retail Solutions Providers Association. As a participant and contributor serving on the RSPA board, Ms. Duffy has been a critical member to advocate for a greater industry, membership education, and sharing knowledge and insight on the ever-changing shifts that men and women in technology face every day. In her off hours, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring the outdoors, visiting the beach, and casual boating with friends.

Over the last several years, Christine Duffy has been active in helping business women of the industry, find the right balance between personal and business life. “Women in technology have it tough and often need to work twice as hard to be recognized.” When Ms. Duffy was asked about her success as a woman in technology her answer was simple and expected, “continuous hard work, network whenever possible, listen to your customers and partners, implement a plan for success and have fun.”
