BlueStar is proud to announce that one of its employees, Aurora Cassidy, has been honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) as one of “Cincinnati’s Finest Young Professionals for 2015.”
This distinct nomination was determined by a panel of judges who hand-selected each honoree based on volunteerism, community involvement, CFF involvement and professional background. In accepting this challenge, Aurora has committed to raise money to help CFF over a 17-week fundraising campaign beginning November 1, 2014.
Ms. Cassidy has been a part of the Business Development team at BlueStar for over 3 years. Upon moving to Kentucky, she has helped plan BlueStar’s annual CFF activities, taken a leading role in BlueStar’s Women in Technology (W.I.T.) networking group and continued volunteerism outside of work, including founding a charity to help shelter animals. She has become instrumental to BlueStar’s overall charitable efforts which have yielded nearly $100,000 in donations over the last 10 years.
Whether volunteering to help local charities, or networking within the POS/AIDC channel, Aurora is an asset to both the BlueStar organization and Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati community. BlueStar is proud to be part of her team and proud of Aurora for accepting this prestigious honor as a candidate for “Cincinnati’s Finest Young Professionals for 2015.”
Ms. Cassidy states,
“I am very honored and excited to be nominated for such a charitable cause. I am looking forward to this 17-week challenge and helping the Foundation to realize its mission of controlling and curing cystic fibrosis (CF).”
