Another VARTECH Leaving Attendees TEConnected

BlueStar has been hosting 20+ years of VARTECHs and the most recent one in Orlando, Florida came and went this past weekend and after a year and some change of isolating indoors and refraining from interactions of any kind, it’s fair to say that the event was highly anticipated and well-attended on many fronts. While VARTECH works to offer unique education, demonstrations, and networking for Value-Added Resellers (given its name, VARTECH), and unmatched ROI for vendors and other partners, the show has changed over the years to focus on Technology Software Companies (TSCs) or formerly known as ISVs.

Opportunities Everywhere!

VARTECHWhether as a stand-alone exhibitor or sponsored by a leading vendor, like Zebra Technologies, Elo Touch Solutions, or Intel Corporation, VARTECH sets TSCs up for success in acquiring potential new partnerships at this 2-day event. From receptions to incentivized presentations, TSCs are encouraged to exhibit their company goals and objectives as a whole, painting a narrative that a lot of our resellers and vendor partners would ideally be looking for; it’s a win-win for everyone involved.

First, there is a forum to get exposure. TEConnect LIVE gives TSCs the platform to make a case for why resellers should partner with them, all in 90-seconds! While fast paced, it gives attendees the ability to quickly navigate who they should meet with later at the event. This year’s event was sponsored by Intel and featured case studies and details about the partnership forged by BlueStar and Intel and their IoT Aggregator program. Next, VARTECH offers TEC-Quick-Connect as essentially “Speed-Networking” for TSCs who are looking to link up with new partners. Over the last few years it has become the Channel’s number one way to blitz network with some of the most innovative TSCs in the world.

A New Winner Crowned

All the while these TSCs are competing for the recognition of ‘Most Innovative TSC’ which grants them bragging rights and $10,000 in Lead Generation Campaigns through BlueStar’s exclusive demand generation program, Appware Solutions. The data for this competition was tallied through our event app, votes coming directly from VARTECH attendees in response to their impressions on who was most deserving of that title. VARTECH

This year’s winner for that accolade was none other than Appspensary, sponsored by Star Micronics to attend this year’s show. Located in Winter Park, Florida, Appspensary is a cannabis technology company that focuses on cloud-based point of sale and on-line ordering platform. They specialize in constructing custom dispensary-branded systems for physical shop locations and their initiative offers cashless, delivery, marketing, and online ordering, track and trace, and inventory management into the sales mix for dispensaries in need.

In the words of North American Director of Marketing, Dean Reverman, VARTECH builds on relationships and strategies, it differentiates… it enables. It’s fair to say that much was accomplished throughout the duration of the event and after we’ve all taken a few days to travel homeward; it’s time to leverage the time spent and knowledge gained to seek out ‘Gold Nuggets’ of innovation in the new partnerships acquired.
