As we make our rounds to introduce all of BlueStar’s Networking team members, we’ve found ourselves in our Canadian office to have a little chat with Kenton Janzen, to learn more about how he contributes his time and efforts to the BlueStar team and to learn a bit more about him. Kenton has been working with BlueStar now for almost 2 and a half with the title Pre-Sales Network Engineer. At times he’s even referred to as an Architect. Some of his main job responsibilities include selling networking products to Channel Partners, working in conjunctions with VARs and in some cases end-users, to understand both the business and the technical requirements, and then to develop the best possible solution at a cost-effective price.
At the moment, Kenton is working on some big projects with SuperMicro and the onboarding has been pretty interesting according to his perspective. He’s working to help BlueStar diversify their portfolio into new realms, in hopes of bringing new opportunities to their door step, along the way. One of his largest accomplishments with BlueStar would have to be when he was able to attain the Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) standing. This greatly assisted him in properly designing Wi-Fi networks for all of BlueStar’s channel partners and customers to this date.
Kenton is happy to be a valued member of the BlueStar family, and though it identifies as an international company, the group continues to embody a “small town” feel with how everyone is treated and considered. Partners can leverage Kenton’s vast experience in the networking field by sending him an email to start the conversation
