BlueStar continues its 2013 Pan-European Technology Summit educational series in France next Thursday, April 11. Hosted at the Hippodrome de Saint-Cloud in Paris, this event is the second of six events to be held across Europe in 2013, continuing the popular series that started in 2012.
“We are very excited about hosting the second 2013 Pan-European Technology Summit at the Hippodrome de Saint-Cloud,” said Ricard Ferrer, BlueStar’s EMEA Marketing Manager. “We have a great lineup of speakers and activities prepared, with extensive vendor support. In fact, the Paris Technology Summit currently has the most vendor sponsors since we started the event series in 2012. This is a clear indication that BlueStar’s Technology Summits bring a high level of value to our VAR and vendor partners, providing unique learning experiences and networking opportunities.”
Jean-Marc Sylvestre, the former face of the French economy, will be the keynote speaker for the Paris Technology Summit. Mr. Sylvestre managed economic information on TF1 and LCI until 2010; he is now a columnist on i-TV, the author of numerous books and runs a popular blog. Next, Yves Grandmontagne, an IT journalist for 12 years with IT experience since 1982, will present his industry insights. Mr. Grandmontagne is the founder of Silicon.fr, DSI Magazine, Expert-IT and a freelance journalist for Silicon.fr, l’informaticien, 01 Business, ZDNet, Programmez, and more.
The Hippodrome de Saint-Cloud thoroughbred racecourse is an official historic monument located in the heart of Paris. Opened in 1901, it hosts a number of important races throughout the year, including the Group One Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, and was used for polo events during the 1924 Summer Olympics. The facility is renowned for its beautiful grounds and beach-themed activities, as well as delicious French cuisine. Following the Paris Technology Summit, attendees will experience an innovative and avant-garde display of molecular gastronomy, creating amazing treats together with expert molecular chefs.
BlueStar designed the Pan-European Technology Summit series to further unite vendors and resellers in the spirit of innovation and shared learning experiences. Fostering such relationships among manufacturers, software solution developers, VARs, and the BlueStar Europe Team is key for collective growth in 2013. Additional targeted educational summits are scheduled across multiple countries throughout 2013. Cities include Barcelona, Spain; Dusseldorf, Germany; Stockholm, Sweden; and Lisboa, Portugal. Each one-day Technology Summit consists of educational presentations, TechZone and networking opportunities. The popular and exclusive “Tomorrow’s Solutions” Rooms will also be part of the 2013 technology summits, where resellers can experience private product demonstrations from top vendors.
