BlueStar continued its 2013 Pan-European Technology Summit educational series in Paris, France on April 11. Hosted at the Hippodrome de Saint-Cloud in Paris, this event was the second of six events to be held across Europe in 2013, continuing the popular series that started in 2012.
“This gathering is a major event for making contacts and information with manufacturers and retailers,” said Sébastien Carteaux, Director of Operations for Traza. “Bluestar France has the undeniable combination of professionalism and skills to make these summits a key event for the identification market.”
The 2013 Paris Technology Summit saw a 25% increase in Value-Added Reseller attendees, and featured even more vendor sponsors than previous events. These sponsors hosted several Tomorrow’s Solutions Rooms to showcase new and upcoming solutions, as well as a number of prize giveaways at the conclusion of the show. Afterwards, attendees were invited to participate in an exciting demonstration of molecular gastronomy, rounding out a full day of educational and training activities.
“The Technology Summit in Paris was a success for the suppliers of products and solutions who were able to present their new products to resellers,” said Carlos Danobrega, Zebra Technologies Account Manager for France & North Africa. “We shared a fun day with our regional partners, allowing us to showcase our new products and solutions as well as strengthen the relationships with our resellers.”
“The Pan-European Technology Summits continue to deliver high value and great networking opportunities to our attendees,” said Ricard Ferrer, BlueStar EMEA Marketing Director. “We’ve worked to offer these events at attractive locations with high-level industry expert speakers, and we saw a number of new attendees keeping the TechZone displays busy the duration of the summit.”
BlueStar designed the Pan-European Technology Summit to further unite vendors and resellers in the spirit of innovation and shared learning experiences. Fostering such relationships among manufacturers, software solution developers, VARs, and the BlueStar Europe Team is key for collective growth in 2013. Additional targeted educational summits are scheduled across multiple countries throughout 2013. Cities include Barcelona, Spain; Dusseldorf, Germany; Stockholm, Sweden; and Lisboa, Portugal. Each one-day Technology Summit consists of educational presentations, TechZone and networking opportunities. The popular and exclusive “Tomorrow’s Solutions” Rooms will also be part of the 2013 technology summits, where resellers can experience private product demonstrations from top vendors.
