BlueStar’s UK Technology Summit will first welcome Scott Garrett as its keynote speaker. Mr. Garrett is a former FMGC marketer turned Formula One team Commercial Directory, as well as the CEO of a sports marketing agency. His presentation will touch on passion for sports and how organizations can harness that energy and team spirit to win at international business efforts.
Jonathan Brayshaw, owner of the Original Agency Limited, will then present his views on emerging technologies and the future of the channel, focusing on mobility, supply chain and RFID. Formerly a journalist and writer/editor of news and corporate marketing, Mr. Brayshaw has built brands through marketing and communications for almost 15 years and will give insights into the social business revolution and how the channel can take advantage of these trends and developments.

Originally the Williams F1 team’s base for its Le Mans project, the award-winning Williams F1 Conference Centre facility was converted in 2002. After a full day of presentations, the UK Technology Summit will conclude with a cocktail reception, a tour of the Williams Grand Prix Collection of nearly 40 historic racecars, and a breathtaking F1 simulation experience. Meals and refreshments will also be provided to attendees throughout the day, and is free for value-added resellers and independent software vendors to attend.
BlueStar designed the Pan-European Technology Summits to further unite vendors and resellers in the spirit of innovation and shared learning experiences. Fostering such relationships among manufacturers, software solution developers, VARs, and the BlueStar Europe Team is key for collective growth in 2013.
Additional targeted educational summits are scheduled across multiple countries throughout 2013. Cities include Paris, France; Barcelona, Spain; Dusseldorf, Germany; Stockholm, Sweden; and Lisboa, Portugal. Each one-day Technology Summit will consist of educational presentations, TechZone and networking opportunities.
